Sustainability

UZH Sustainability Commission

The UZH Sustainability Commission supports the Sustainability Delegate of the UZH in fulfilling their task, namely to raise awareness for and foster a sustainable use of resources at UZH in teaching, research and operations.

Tasks

  • The Commission advises the UZH Executive Board on specialist matters related to sustainable development and on the development of strategic principles for the promotion and anchoring of sustainability in teaching, research and operations at UZH (consulting);
  • At the request of the UZH Executive Board, it provides insight into the topic of sustainability at the faculties and the departments ("sounding").
  • At the request of the Sustainability Hub, it can serve on a case-by-case basis as a "sounding board" for the Sustainability Hub.
