Jeannette is Project Leader Sustainable Development in Research and Teaching.
Jeannette holds a doctorate in economics and social sciences with a focus on political science and a Master's degree in applied ethics. She wrote her doctoral thesis on the topic of the legitimacy of new forms of political participation at local level in the context of sustainable development under Prof. Dr. Ortwin Renn at the University of Stuttgart as part of the interdisciplinary research project "Climate and Environment in Alpine Regions" (CLEAR) at the ETH Zurich. She also completed a Master's degree in Applied Ethics at the University of Zurich. She has worked in various institutions of socio-political and ethical education for the design of transdisciplinary processes, including as a subject specialist at the Landeszentrale für politische Bildung Baden-Württemberg, as director of studies at the Protestant Study Centre Boldern near Zurich, and as a staff member for Society & Ethics of the Protestant Church of the Canton of Zurich. So far, her main areas of work include sustainable development in the context of democracy and political participation; corporate social responsibility, sustainable development and ethics as well as governance for sustainable development.
