Project: Sustainable student mobility (SET project)
UZH is a partner organization in the EU-funded project Sustainable Erasmus+ Travel (SET). This project aims to motivate students to use sustainable mobility for their exchange abroad and to promote supporting frameworks for this.
The Sustainability Hub and Global Student Experience are working on this project. In addition to UZH, Charles University in Prague, the University of Porto, the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) and the European University Foundation (EUF) are involved in the project. Erasmus by train and Generation Climate Europe are also associated.
The Sustainability Hub analysed student mobility patterns in cooperation with Global Student Experience. The analysis primarily intends to provide information about which routes are frequently used across Europe and which ways of transport students have used so far. The Factsheet and Connectivity Report summarize these results.
