Factsheets and Guidelines

The Sustainability Team publishes Factsheets, which describe in a concise manner the sustainability impacts of different options for action in university life. Furthermore, the Executive Board of UZH has approved guidelines and recommendations for action to enhance sustainability at UZH.

Guideline Sustainable Events

The Executive Board of UZH has approved the Guideline Sustainable Events in June 2018. The guideline shows how to consider sustainability aspects when organizing events. It addresses topics such as travel, waste reduction and accessibility.

Guideline Sustainable Catering

In 2017, the Sustainability Team developed in collaboration with ETH a guideline for sustainable catering. Criteria for sustainable catering and tips to prevent food waste enable persons in charge to plan sustainable refreshments.

Recommendations for Action with regard to Sustainable Investments

In March 2017, the Executive Board of the University adopted recommendations for action with regard to sustainable investments. The recommendations are directed towards persons who represent the UZH in foundation boards or administrative boards.
